November–Part Two

As part of our 10 day return to the UK, we took the night bus from Marmaris to Istanbul and spent a couple of days taking in some of the sights. We stayed in a small cheap hotel in the heart of the old city, overlooked by the Blue Mosque and the Aya Sofia, brilliant.

Although we visited during the Islamic festival of Bayran, there was till plenty to see except for the Grand Bazaar which was closed – we will have to save that for another time.
